Shira Epstein, founder and principal of Trillium Creative,
has over a decade and a half of experience as a graphic designer, creative director
and manager. Her background in marketing and business strategy complements
her design abilities, and distinguishes her in the creative industry.
Ms. Epstein received her BFA in Graphic Communications, with honors, from Washington University
in St. Louis. Her
belief that design should support business objectives led Ms. Epstein
to the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management,
where she earned an MBA in Marketing and Business Strategy.
Ms. Epstein began her career as a freelance designer
at several well-known Chicago design firms. In January 1998, she took
a design position at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. In 2000, Ms. Epstein was promoted to Art Director, a position that allowed her to help
manage the creative and strategic direction of the Chicago Fed Design
Group. During her tenure, the department became recognized as one of the
best design groups in the Federal Reserve System. She produced award-winning
Annual Reports, and art directed projects including the national Federal
Reserve Financial Services branding program.
Ms. Epstein founded Trillium Creative in 2003. Trillium has enjoyed
steady growth since its inception, with clients spanning a large variety of service and consumer product industries.
Ms. Epstein is an active member of the American Institute of Graphic
Arts and National Association of Women Business Owners. She has also has been an Adjunct Professor at The International Academy
of Design and Technology (IADT), serving on their advisory board. |
